Mission Statement

The directive of the National Emergency Services Academy is to serve as the organization responsible for establishment and maintenance of the training standards for Civil Air Patrol's Emergency Services mission.


By fulfilling its mission to set Civil Air Patrol's standards for training requirements, creating an optimal training environment, and enhancement of technologies, for various aspects of emergency services, the National Emergency Services Academy provides the foundation for all CAP members to be well-prepared to respond effectively.

To highlight its commitment to fostering innovation and continuous improvement, the National Emergency Services Academy serves as a forum for new ideas, standards, and technologies, within the Civil Air Patrol.

This emphasis on innovation leads to the development of more efficient and effective emergency response strategies and tactics; ultimately enhancing the overall operational capabilities of the Civil Air Patrol.
